I'm convinced that we have to do the Comenius Programme in the city of Edinburg, which is the capital of Scotland, the siege of the Scottish Parliament and the second most populated city behind Glasgow.
First, I was attracted by Scotland for the mystical aspect, the castles and the legends, but there are a lot of things to do in Scotland, even if we cannot go to the Loch Ness !
In Edinburgh, we can see so many things !
It was a fortress, so we can visit many castles, like the Edinburgh Castle on the top of the city.
They are also a lot of Museums, like the National Museum of Scotland, which presents 20,000 artifacts to do a travel in the history of Scotland .
Edinburgh has a rich literary heritage : it was the first city in the world to be named a UNESCO City of Literature, we can do one of the city's popular tour to discover it, or visit the Writers’ Museum.
If we go along the coast we shall find beautiful beaches for picnic, swim and so on, and the city is built on volcanic hills, so we can see magnificent landscapes in Edinburgh.
Edinburgh is also famous for its Festival, the biggest of the world. The Festival during three weeks in August and they are many shows.
Edinburgh is regarded as one of the most vibrant, beautiful and interesting cities in the world, and the city is home to many arts and culture attractions, while it hosts world-famous art events throughout the year : we should definitely go to Edinburgh to do the partnership with a British school.
