Bombay (Mumbai) is the second city in India. Is the capital of the state of Maharashtra to the edge of the Indian Ocean, it is inhabited by 12 million people. It was in 1995 that Bombay became Mumbai. The city has been renamed for political causes. The city of Mumbai has two seasons; dry and wet. The average annual temperature is 27degrees. The most important places in Mumbai are the Elephanta caves, Hanging Gardens and the Prince of Wales Museum. Mumbai is the commercial and entertainment capital of India. Apart from Mumbai, occur the Dharavi slum. It is home to more than a million people.
